If you’re reading this post, you’re probably:
A. a reader of my former blog, the gf-gf,
B. related to me, or
C. both.
Whatever brought you to my new site, I’m glad you’re here and I hope you’ll stay 🙂
It might be strange to set up a new website under a name that I haven’t officially taken yet, but, well, jennieday.com was available and other permutations of my name that I looked for weren’t. So I snatched this up.
I’ll begin with a tour. I’m a much more skilled manipulator of wordpress now than I used to be, so this new site is relatively more sophisticated. You are currently looking at the blog portion of my site. All posts can be found here. On the home page are links to different posts, photos, favorite recipes, etc (I think of it as “featured content;” I’ll update those links periodically.) Links to my latest blog posts can be found there, as well.
From the food tab, you can find links to my recipe pages, recommended restaurants, and all the food-related posts. Most of the posts that transferred over from my old blog are there.
On the photos page, you’ll find links to galleries of my favorite photos. Those are loosely organized by categories, places, and/or dates. I’ll post to the blog when new galleries go up so you can check them out.
The travel tab will take you to a landing page with links to posts and photo galleries from my travels (you’ll want to come back to that one, because we have some awesome trips coming up!)
Currently, there isn’t much on the wedding tab, but after the big day, I’ll update with photos and maybe a recap post or two.
And on the contact page is a form to send an email directly to my inbox.
This site is very much a work in progress – I’m still going through my posts from the gf-gf and uploading pictures and updating the links. This is an ongoing process, so if you click on something and find yourself back on thegfgf.com, don’t be alarmed. If you find anything that’s missing or any broken links, please help me out and send me an email so I can fix them!
Thanks again for stopping by. I hope you’ll click around and explore — leave a comment below to let me know what you think!
